March 10, 2010 CLEA Technologies participates in AMBIOCAS program to develop new green chemical processes

The EU FP7 program "Amine synthesis through biocatalytic cascades" (AMBIOCAS) brings together microbiologists, enzymologists, chemists, engineers and process development experts involved in research to develop the next generation of green manufacturing methods for the chemical industry. Besides CLEA Technologies, the project involves researchers from the University of Manchester (UK), the University of Graz (AU), Denmark Technical University (DK), Evonik Degussa (DE), and the University of Groningen (NL). More information:

November 06, 2009 CLEA Technologies recently launched its Discovery Platforms
CLEA Technologies has launched its discovery platforms, comprised of a highly relevant selection of biocatalysts available on industrial scale, both as free enzyme and immobilised form.

May 21, 2009 CLEA Technologies recently launched its line of green oxidation catalysts
CLEA Technologies has launched a line of green selective oxidation catalysts with generally superior selectivity and performance compared to TEMPO type catalysts. For more information please ask us about our oxidation products

December 05, 2008 Amide and nitrile converting enzymes available including enantioselective nitrile hydratases
CLEA Technologies has expanded their enzyme portfolio with amidases, nitrilases and enantioselective nitrile hydratases Please refer to our Enzyme list for more information on these new enzymes

October 31, 2008 New Protease CLEA formulations available
Our protease CLEAs of alcalase, savinase and esperase are now available in new formulations that are optimised for specific conditions. CLEA-ST is our  standard formulation. CLEA-OM is optimised for use in organic solvents or for the use with highly apolar substrates. CLEA-UF is an ultra fine powder, that has shown especially effective in surface modification, for instance in wool treatment. Please refer to our product list for more information on these new formulations

October 20, 2008 Esterase CLEAs added to our portfolio
We have added Cross-Linked Enzyme aggregates of two Bacillus subtilis esterases to our standard product portfolio. Please refer to our product list for more information on BS2 and BS3 esterase CLEAs.

April 11, 2008 New CLEA from Papain available
We successfully created our first batch of CLEA from the Papain enzyme of commercially acceptable standards. Our R&D department is still working on optimization of the CLEA and expects an even more improved batch will be available soon. Please contact our sales department if you are interested in a sample or when you like any more information on this Papain CLEA.
